Check spelling in a document with spell check

We are no longer making Quickoffice available for download. To work with Microsoft® Office files, install the newest versions of the DocsSheets, and Slides apps from Google Play on your Android phone or tablet, or the Docs, Sheets, and Slides apps from the App Store for your iPhone or iPad. Learn more about editing Office files in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

You can use spell check in Quickoffice to check for spelling mistakes throughout your documents. It won't check for grammatical errors, but it will help you make sure that you haven't misspelled a word by accident.

Touch the Spell Check icon to turn on spell check in Quickword. Quickword will scan your document for mistakes and underline them in red. Touch a word with a red underline to bring up spelling suggestions. For Quickoffice version 6.2.4 on Android, you can touch the overflow menu while in a document and select Enable spell check to underline words that are misspelled.

On Android tablets and phones, you will also be able to add the word to your phone or tablet dictionary. If you accidentally add a word to your dictionary, you can remove it by opening the Settings application, selecting Language & Input, then Personal Dictionary.
