Misleading representation

We do not allow content that:

  • misrepresents, misstates or conceals information about the publisher, the content creator, the purpose of the content or the content itself.
  • falsely implies having an affiliation with, or endorsement by, another individual, organisation, product or service.

    Examples: Impersonating Google products, misusing company logos

Tips for understanding misrepresentative content

In the example image below, a publisher is attempting to mimic our YouTube site. They are misrepresenting themselves as YouTube. Ads may not be placed on pages that misrepresent, misstate or conceal information about the publisher, the publisher's content or the primary purpose of the web property.
