Report a road closure during a crisis on Google Maps

You can report a road closure during a crisis to alert others of road closures and navigate a different route.

This feature is only available on the Google Maps app during a crisis. 

Report a road closure during a crisis

Important: Only report road closures when you are in a safe place. 

1. On your Android phone, open Google Maps . 
2. Tap Explore  Crisis  Report road closure.
3. Tap the road you want to report as closed.
4. Tap Next.
5. Give any extra information about the closure.
6. Tap Send.
