I have replaced the code on the cse page with the up to date code and cleared the website cache.  But still the links in the results are not clickable so cannot reach the page.  This is a recent problem and was working fine before.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Afasic,

Can you please provide me with your Programmable Search Engine ID.

Also, please provide me with the website URL where you have implemented your Programmable Search Engine and seeing the problem and I'll take a look.

Thanks

Hi Afasic,

Thanks for the information provided.

Accessed your Programmable Search Engine and implemented the default code on my test page and the results does display the "Results Title" which is clickable. Was not able to reproduce the problem which you reported.

Then accessed your website and observed that in your implementation the results are not displaying the clickable "Results Title". The problem which you are seeing is due to the way the Programmable Search Engine has been implemented on your website. You have implemented the "Results-only" layout and it might be that your website code may be overriding the search engine implementation code.

You can check using web developer tool such as firebug/Inspect Element and check for the problem.

To narrow down the problem, please create a test html page and host it on your website. Then implement the search box code and only the default "Results-Only" code on this page. Do not implement any of your website code. Then access this test page and perform search and check if you are seeing the problem.

Thanks

Thank you for your reply and help.

I have used the code inspector and it returned an error below:

cse.google.com/adsense/search/async-ads.js:1 Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

And a warning below:
A cookie associated with a cross-site resource at http://cse.google.com/ was set without the `SameSite` attribute. A future release of Chrome will only deliver cookies with cross-site requests if they are set with `SameSite=None` and `Secure`. You can review cookies in developer tools under Application>Storage>Cookies and see more details at https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5088147346030592 and https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5633521622188032.

So it would appear that, as you have said, there is a conflict here.

Hi Afasic,

The problem which you are seeing is not due to the things which you have mentioned.

Maybe you can consider implementing Programmable Search Engine using other layout and check:

Otherwise, to narrow down the problem, please create a test html page and host it on your website. Then implement the search box code and only the default "Results-Only" code on this page. Do not implement any of your website code. Then access this test page and perform search and check if you are seeing the problem.
