Programmable Search Engine has launched a preview of our new Control Panel, which has been re-organized to bring the most widely used features to the forefront of the control panel, and provides a clean, mobile-friendly user interface.
What's new?
- We're introducing better user navigation for the creation and deployment of a search engine.
- We're surfacing a new search engine management page for all search engines created under one account.
- We have added more helpful tips for Programmable Search Engine features, helping users engage with and deploy features more rapidly.
During this Preview phase, the new Control Panel has a limited subset of the functionality of the old Control Panel. Remaining functionality will be added over the coming months.
How do I try the new Control Panel?
To opt in to the new Control Panel, click on the "Preview" button in the banner at the top of the current Control Panel that states "Preview the new Control Panel".
We encourage users who try the new experience to provide feedback during their session. Feedback will be used to continue refining the user experience, which helps ensure that the final product is as useful as possible.
How do I leave feedback about the new Control Panel?
In order to leave feedback:
- Click on the "Send Feedback" button located at the left navigation panel of the page, which will open a dialog.
- Type your feedback into the text box inside the dialog. You can choose to include your current screenshot in the feedback to be sent to our team.
- Click on the "SEND" button to submit the feedback.
How do I switch back to the old Control Panel?
If you want to opt out of the new Control Panel interface and return to the old Control Panel:
- Click Return to legacy Control Panel from the top banner to return to the old Control Panel.
