Hello, if you will please conduct a search for your business - you may find citation sources that still have your previous business hours. Google compares data about businesses to other online sources, where discrepancies appear Google may not honor your updates. Please be sure to audit your business data across the web to assure all references to your business is current and up to date.

You need to claim and verify your Google Business Profile in order to manage the data. If you have claimed and verified your business profile then you should be able to sign into your account and admin any data.

It sounds like Call History might be enabled on your business profile, which causes a Google Forwarding number to be used.

To disable call history:
  1. Sign in to your Business Profile. 
  2. To manage your call history:
    • With Google Search, select Calls.
    • With Google Maps, select Customers  Calls.
  3. Select the 3-dot menu   Calls settings.
  4. Turn on or off call history.

Hello, please mark the business as closed, you can do this by selecting "Suggest an Edit"  The profile and location will be clearly identified as closed and in time will roll off of search results. No, you should not have to create a new profile. In the business profile you should be able to claim it or suggest an edit at the very least.  Please provide your business name, address and website URL, this may be helpful to diagnose further.

Conduct a search for your business name across Google and wherever you find the former business name please submit an update to your new business name. The reason for this is because Google will spider the web and compares your business data to what is found online so when there are discrepancies found it could cause this type of issue.
