Basic safety

Use and rating: 45W USB-C Power Adapter was designed to be compliant with the USB Type-CTM specification and as such is capable of 5V at 3A; 9V at 3 A; 12V at 3 A; 15 V at 3 A; 20 V at 2.25 A. Use of this power adapter with devices that are not compatible with the voltage and current shown on its label and/or that are not compliant with the USB Type-CTM specification, may result in permanent damage to the device and/or the power adapter.

To avoid damaging your power adapter or any connected devices, and to reduce the risk of personal injury, discomfort, property damage or other potential hazards, follow the precautions below and those found at g.co/PixelbookPowerAdapter/SafetyInfo Handle your power adapter with care. You may damage it if you disassemble, drop, bend, burn, crush or puncture your power adapter. Using a damaged power adapter may cause overheating or injury. Don’t expose your power adapter to liquids, which can cause a short circuit and overheating. If it gets wet, do not attempt to dry it using an external heat source. Your 45W USB-C Power Adapter is designed to work best in ambient temperatures between 32° to 104° F (0° and 40° C), and should be stored between ambient temperatures of -22° and 158° F (-30° and 70° C). 45W USB-C Power Adapter is intended to be used only with Google Pixelbook. Be sure the power adapter and Pixelbook are well ventilated when in use or charging. Using damaged cables or power adapters, or charging when moisture is present, can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to your Pixelbook or other property. When charging your Pixelbook, make sure the power adapter is plugged into a socket near your power adapter and is easily accessible. Avoid charging the Pixelbook in direct sunlight.
