If you are a business household/individual based in Vietnam, please provide your Name and Tax code (12-digit Personal Identification Number).
Why are we collecting the information?
Google is obligated to withhold tax on payments made to you (as a business household/individual based in Vietnam) from end users in Vietnam under Vietnamese tax legislation, where such payments are associated with sales you have made to end users through the Play Store.
In addition, Google is responsible for determining, charging, and remitting VAT to the appropriate authority for all Google Play Store paid app and in-app sales made by business households/individuals to customers in Vietnam. Google or its payment processor partners will charge and remit a 5% VAT on these purchases.
What payments are subject to withholding?
Payments are subject to withholding if they are made to a Vietnam-based developer (business household or individual) from end users in Vietnam for the sale of Play apps.
- Withholding is calculated based on the gross revenue derived from Vietnam end users.
- This applies to all Play apps sales by developers.
Where do I submit my information?
