Packaging sorting informationPackaging sorting information is required in France to let users know that packaging must be sorted separately from normal trash. Packaging materials may also need to be separated by packaging type. Packaging should be sorted for recovery per your local recycling authority's guidance.
Introduced in late 2022, packaging sorting information is provided directly on the product packaging.

Tip: The “+NOTICE”, if present on the marking, refers to documents, such as product guides. If documents are no longer needed, they should be recycled as paper.

Sorting information, or “information des consommateurs sur la règle de tri”, is required in France to let users know that electronic devices, such as associated cables, batteries and electronic accessories, must be sorted separately from normal trash. These items must also be deposited for recovery at appropriate collection locations. Collection locations may include the retail location where your device was purchased or other deposit centers for electronics. For more information, go to www.quefairedemesdechets.fr.
