How do I fix the "Something went wrong" error message while publishing?

I am having trouble publishing my Poly tour. We have published a version of the tour that has 12 scenes, but we have since added 21 more scenes and would like to publish this new version. I tried reuploading my cover photo and switching browsers, but I keep getting the same error message:

"Something went wrong. There was a problem publishing [tour name]. Try again later."

Is there any way to fix this issue without having to redo the entire tour? Thank you!

We apologize for any issues you may have encountered while publishing your Tour Creator tour. Please try to publish your tour again. If you are still encountering issues, here are a couple of things to check: 
  • Re-upload your cover photo. Because of a compression error, you may need to delete and re-upload your cover image.
  • Are your 360° images too big? If you are still experiencing publishing issues, we recommend resizing your images to a maximum size of 4096x2048 (2:1 ratio). After resizing, re-upload the images to your tour.  
  • Has the file extension of your uploaded images changed? (ie. a .png named with ".jpg"). If so, we recommend changing the file extension name back to the original file name.
If you are still experiencing this issue, please send us the link of your tour, and we’ll take a look.

Hello,

I tried re-uploading the cover photo and resizing the 360 images to 4096x2048 but the tour still will not publish. None of our photos have changed from png to jpeg, or from jpeg to png. Hi Julia,
 
This looks like a wonderful Tour! I think that the issue here may be due to the amount of content you have (POIs, overlay images, etc). This is a known issue that we are working on to resolve to allow users like you to create Tours with unlimited space.
 
I will loop back to this thread when this issue has been resolved and you can republish your tour.
