Pointy for Rx30 POS 1.0

To sign up to Pointy using  TDS 1.0 the Pharmacy needs to be operating on Rx30 POS 1.0 version 1.48.1 or higher.

 

New Pointy Pharmacies:

1. Please CLICK HERE and fill in your details. IMPORTANT: The link provided is only for WinScan users.

 

2. You'll receive a verification email from Pointy and your Pointy Page will be created. 
3. You will receive an email from Pointy including your retailer key.
4. Next from the POS Sales Screen select Menu – System – Configuration – System.
5. Select Interfaces tab.

 

6. Locate Retailer Key field under the Pointy Configuration section.

 

7. Type Retailer Key in the Retailer Key field, which will be provided by Pointy in an email.
8. Select Save.
9. Select Ok when “The configuration is saved successfully” message appears.
10. Log out of the Point of Sale system completely for the changes to be applied.

 

Current Pointy Pharmacies: 

1. If you are already using Pointy and wish to use the Rx30 1.0 integration please reach out to Pointy support at [e-mail].
2. The email should include your pharmacy name and address and a brief explanation of your query e.g. “I would like to connect my current Pointy account to the Rx30 1.0 integration”.
3. The Pointy agent will associate your current Pointy page to the correct integration.
4. The pointy support agent will then send you your retailer key via email.
5. Next from the POS Sales Screen select Menu – System – Configuration – System.
6. Select Interfaces tab.

 

7. Locate Retailer Key field under the Pointy Configuration section.
8. Type Retailer Key in the Retailer Key field, which will be provided by Pointy in an email.

 

 

9. Select Save.
10. Select Ok when “The configuration is saved successfully” message appears.
11. Log out of the Point of Sale system completely for the changes to be applied.

 

Important:

Your POS might have a security setup which you need to reset to allow data flow.

2. Allow access to Pointy site in your Network Rules
