Delete and manage activity on Google+
You can delete various activities in Google+. Here are some examples of things you can remove:
- Posts you’ve shared
- Comments you’ve made
- Your +1’s on Google+
- Your Hangouts On Air Event questions
- Your Google+ Events
- Poll votes
- Blocks and mutes
- Your +1 activity
Note: You can also delete your Google+ profile.
Delete a post
- On your computer, open Google+.
- Click the post that you want to delete.
- In the top right corner of the post, click More
.
- Click Delete. You’ll see a confirmation message.
- Click Delete again.
Delete a comment
- On your computer, open Google+.
- Click the comment that you want to delete.
- Click Delete comment. You’ll see a confirmation message.
- Click Delete.
Undo a +1
- On your computer, open Google+.
- Find the post or comment you +1’ed.
- Click +1.
Delete certain items using the Activity Log
In the Activity Log, you can remove:
- Posts you’ve shared
- Comments you’ve made
- Your +1’s on Google+
- Your Hangouts On Air Event questions
- Your Google+ Events
- Poll votes
- Blocks and mutes
- Your +1 activity
To remove items:
- On your computer, open Google+.
- In the Navigation menu, click Settings
.
- Under “General,” click Activity Log.
- In the top left next to “Posts,” click the Down arrow
.
- Choose the type of activity you want to see.
- To delete an activity, click the X next to it.
- Choose whether to keep it or delete it.
Keep in mind:
- You might not see all the information about the activity you’ve selected. For example, if you made a post in a private community and you're no longer a member, you can still remove that post, but you might not see some information about it.
