If you use Google+ for work or school, and have turned on domain restriction for your Community, invite links will only work for people within your organisation. If you’ve been banned from a Community, you can’t join the Community using an invite link.

Remove posts and comments

When you remove a post or comment:

  • No one in the Community can see, share, comment on or +1 that post or comment, other than the person who made it.
  • If the post was reshared to another Community or Collection, people will be able to see it there.
  • People might still see the post on the profile of the person who made it.

Note: Some posts might be categorised as possible spam. These posts will only be shown to Community owners and moderators, who can accept or reject the posts.

Add or remove stronger filters to content

You can turn on more aggressive filtering to reduce the amount of spam or inappropriate content that reaches your Community's stream. If your Community already has this content control on, you can turn it off:

  2. In the Navigation menu, click Communities .
  3. Click Yours.
  4. Click the Community that you want to adjust filters on.
  5. Click More More.
  6. Click Edit community.
  7. Switch 'Content controls' on or off.
  8. Click Done.

Note: When this setting is on, Google+'s content filter is more likely to flag posts that are questionable, so fewer of them will appear in your Community. You can see these blocked posts in your moderator queue.

When you remove someone:

  • They leave the Community, but can join again.
  • Their posts and comments are not removed from the Community.
