Contacting people through Google+

From someone's profile page, you can start a Hangout (text or video), or send a message by sharing a post that only they can see.

Find someone’s profile page

  1. Sign in to Google+.
  2. Using the search bar at the top of the page, you can search for someone by name.
  3. You can also place your cursor in the top left corner for the Google+ main menu and then click  People. You’ll then see people in your circles and people you may want to add to your circles.

The picture below explains how to message someone from their Profile page.

  1. Click to start a Hangout (text or video). Learn about starting Hangouts.
  2. Click to share a post that only that user will see.

If any of those contact options are missing, it means the user has adjusted their settings so you aren’t able to contact them in that way.
