Report abuse during a video Hangout in Google+ while on your Android device

There are 2 ways to report abuse on your Android device.

  1. The directions will depend on how many people are participating in your video Hangout:
    • Report abuse in a video Hangout with one other person: Touch    Menu.
    • Report abuse in a video Hangout with more than one other person: Go to the bottom of the screen, and touch the person’s profile photo.
  2. Touch Ignore.
  3. Touch the checkbox next to Report Abuse. You can also choose to block the person by touching the checkbox next to Block permanently.
  4. Then touch OK.

When you select Report Abuse in a public video Hangout, Google will record a portion of the video call to determine whether or not someone in the video call is violating the Google+ user content and conduct policy. If a user is being recorded, we'll display a notification at the top of the video call window. If we find that someone is violating our policies, we will take action.

At this time, it's not possible to report abuse when in a Hangout on a mobile device. However, you can still block the person.
