Download photos using Google+

Save photos and download your albums using Google+. The people you share your photos with will also be able to download your photos using Google+ unless you change your settings.

Download photos

Android app
  1. Open the Google+ app  .
  2. Touch the photo you want to download.
  3. Touch the menu button or icon  and select Download.
Desktop computer

Download a photo

  1. Go to Google+.
  2. Click the photo > More > Download photo.

Download one of your photo albums

  1. Open Google+. Place your cursor in the top left corner for the Google+ main menu. 
  2. Click  Photos.
  3. Click More at the top > Albums > the album you'd like to download.
  4. Click the dropdown arrow at the top right > Download.

Downloading shared photos of albums

  1. From your stream or someone's profile, click on the name of the shared album you'd like to download.
  2. Click the  dropdown icon > Download album.
Mobile web (choose this if you use Google+ on your mobile device's browser)
  1. Go to plus.google.com.
  2. Touch the photo you want to download.
  3. Touch the down arrows at the top right and select Download.
iPhone or iPad
  1. Open the Google+ app  .
  2. Touch the photo you want to download.
  3. Touch the gear icon  at the top right and select Download.

If you don't see the Download option, the person who shared the photo may have changed their Google+ settings to not allow viewers to download their photos.

Restrict others' ability to download your photos using Google+

To turn this feature off, go to your Google+ settings and uncheck the box next to "Allow viewers to download my photos and videos."
