Finding locations

You can find locations in Google+ Local by searching or exploring. To use these features, you must be signed in to Google+.

At the top of the page, you’ll have two search boxes. In the first box, enter what you’re searching for. Use your main search terms, like a type of location (French restaurants, hotels, book stores). You can even enter specific terms or features about a place, like a “macaroni and cheese” or “good for families.”

In the second box, type where you’re searching. You can enter locations such as cities, zip codes, neighborhoods, or even street intersections.

Clicking on  explore_icon in the left-hand menu will bring you to an overview of places to explore based on your current location, or near a location you search for. We’ll recommend places we think you’ll like based on your reviews, check-ins, and suggestions from top reviewers.
