Before starting a Hangout On Air, you’ll be asked to review the Hangouts On Air terms of service and the YouTube terms of service. Please review this carefully. All content, including any music or videos played in the background of your broadcast, should be avoided unless explicitly owned by you.

This also applies to anyone joining your Hangout On Air. If others play music, videos, or other content that they do not own, ask them to stop and/or leave the broadcast immediately.

YouTube uses Content ID to detect whether or not a Hangout On Air is broadcasting copyrighted content. If your content has been flagged for copyright infringement please visit the YouTube Help Center.
