Approve or remove name tags linking to your Google+ profile

Name tags are links to your Google+ profile and allow you to see which photos you're in. If someone tags you in a photo, that tag will link to your Google+ profile. By approving a name tag, the photo will be added to the Photos of you section of your profile. You can control which name tags link to your profile and which are shown in the Photos of you section of your profile.

Tagging someone who isn't on Google+: Tagging someone who isn't using Google+ will put a name tag on the photo. Unlike name tags that are linked to Google+ profiles, this name tag will show simply as a name. To notify someone that you've tagged them in a photo, use their email address. Doing so will send that person an email notification.

If you're not on Google+ and you want to remove a name tag, you can do so by navigating to the photo and click the X icon. If the album in which you’ve been tagged is private, you’ll need to sign in to your Google Account to remove it. If you don’t have an account, you can create one.
