Stop getting Google Duo calls

If you've connected your phone number to any Google services, you may be automatically registered with other products, like Google Duo. If you want, you can uninstall Duo on your Pixel Slate or delete your Duo account. If you want to use Duo again later, you'll need to register again.

Delete & uninstall Duo

Step 1: Delete your account

Deleting your Duo account is the only way to completely disconnect it from your phone number or Google Account.

1. On your device, open Duo.
2. Select More Settings.
3. Select Delete Duo account Delete.

Important: If you delete your account, your settings will be deleted. If you register for Duo again, blocked phone numbers won't be blocked anymore.

Step 2: Uninstall Duo

1. In the corner of your screen, click the Launcher Up arrow
2. Right-click the Duo app.
3. Select Uninstall Uninstall.

If you've never registered for Duo, stop getting Duo calls

If you get calls through App Preview Messages from people who have your number, you can stop getting them.

1. On your mobile device, open the Settings app.
2. Select Google App preview messages.
3. In "Connected apps," turn off Duo.

Remove your phone number from other Google services

You can unregister your phone number from other Google services, so that people who have your phone number can't reach out. Learn how to disconnect your number.
