Make calls with Google Meet on Pixel Slate

You can use the Google Meet app with your Pixel Slate to make video or audio calls to anyone in your contacts. You can find out more about adding contacts in the Google Meet Help Center.

Making calls with Google Meet requires a Wi-Fi connection, and may use mobile data if your Pixel Slate is connected to a mobile hotspot, but it does not require a mobile phone plan or use mobile minutes.

    2. If the number isn't a saved contact:
      1. Click Start a call .
      2. Enter a phone number or email.
      3. Click Voice call or Video call .

  1. Open the Google Meet app .
  2. Swipe from the bottom to view your scheduled meetings. Only meetings scheduled through Google Calendar appear on Google Meet.
  3. Tap Join or select a meeting from the list and then Join meeting.

Join a video meeting with a meeting code or nickname

Every Meet video meeting has a code that you can use to join the meeting. The meeting code is a series of characters, such as abc-defg-hjk. You can get the meeting code from the joining information that was sent to you or at the end of the meeting link.

Note: If you've connected your phone number to any Google services, you may be automatically registered with other products, like Google Meet.
