Print from Chrome

You can print from Chrome using your Pixel Slate. With Google Cloud Print, you can make your printers available to you and anyone you choose.

Set up Google Cloud Print

If your wireless printer says that it's Cloud ready, follow your printer manufacturer's instructions or see setup information for Cloud-ready printers.

If your printer doesn't say it's Cloud ready, follow the steps below.

  1. Turn on your printer.
  2. On your device, open Chrome.
  3. At the top right, select More More and then Settings.
  4. At the bottom, select Advanced.
  5. Under "Printing," select Google Cloud Print.
  6. Select Manage Cloud Print devices.
  7. If prompted, sign in with your Google Account.
  8. Select the printers you want to connect, and then select Add printer(s).

The printer is now associated with your Google Account and connected to Google Cloud Print. You can print to this printer from any device where you're signed in to your Google Account.

Print using Google Cloud Print

  1. On your device, open Chrome.
  2. Open the page, image, or file you want to print.
  3. Select More More and then Print. Or, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + p.
  4. In the window that appears, select Change to choose your Google Cloud Printer.
  5. Change any print settings you want.
  6. When ready, select Print.

If you're using your device at work or school, your network administrator might connect one or more printers for you. The printer will be available when you're signed in to your work or school account. To learn about using your device through work or school, see Related articles.

Print from a standard printer

To set up your printer, follow your printer manufacturer's instructions.

  1. On your device, open Chrome.
  2. Open the page, image, or file you want to print.
  3. Select More More and then Print. Or, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + p.
  4. In the window that appears, select the destination and change any print settings you want.
  5. When ready, select Print.
