High-quality video & photos

Staying connected is easier than ever with Duo Cam's wide-angle lens that keeps everyone in view and makes them look great, even in low-light. Plus, with Google Duo, the highest quality one-to-one video calling app,1 you can call anyone with an Android, iOS, or Chrome OS device.

And with portrait mode, on both Duo Cam and the rear-facing camera, the subject of your photo stands out by blurring the background.

Portable performance

Get more done with a powerful Intel® Processor,1 fast-charging (2 hours' boost in 15 mins), long lasting (up to 12 hours) battery,2 and multi-tasking tools like split-screen. Collaboration is easy with apps like Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides that work even when you're offline. And when you need more info or a little help, the Google Assistant always has your back.3

2Battery performance is based on a mix of standby, web browsing, and other use. Charging time requires the battery to be at least 5% charged, the device to be inactive, and use of the included charger. Actual results may vary.

3Google Assistant requires an internet connection.  If your Google Account was set up through a K-12 school or non-profit group, or you have an .EDU email address, you won't be able to use the Google Assistant on Pixel Slate.

Display brightness

How is screen brightness measured?

The brightness of screen displays is typically measured in nits (nt), also referred to as candelas per square meter (cd/m2). This measurement tells you how much light is emitted per unit area (1 nt = 1 cd/m2). Screen brightness can vary by device. Based on measurements taken on a selection of units, Pixel Slate’s actual screen brightness can range from 320 nits to more than 400 nits. The range is a result of variations in panel manufacturing, system assembly, and system operating conditions.
