Was wondering if someone could take a look at this.

There seems to be quite a lot of units popping up where there's a gap between the display and the frame/body.

I'm not the owner of the above thread but I do have the issue.

Can someone from Google clarify the issue.

Is this normal?
Does this cause issues with waterproofing?
How/why has this happened on a £600 device?

Mine seems to look the same and there are no issues resulting from it.

I have the same problem. What happened with quality of Google phones? I feel like Google don't care about pixels anymore. I'll have to back to oneplus.

Understand that, but

Does this effect the waterproofing at all?
What are the chances it gets worse as time goes on?
Why do some devices not suffer from this?

So lets talk about my case now...

Ordered on 30 September received on 16 Oktober.
Saw the gap and immediately contacted with cs, after may messages and many emails i convinced them that that was a faulty device. I received the rma device on 29 Oktober. Now the gap was in the front side and even worse... I could barely see the glue points of the display. So again cs trying to convince them that this is not normal, in the meantime came the official reply from google that this is a part of the design 😂😂😂
So no matter how much i tried they didn't send me a new rma. So i decided to send both back and take my money back. ( I am not paying 613 euro for a faulty device) .
Now starts the big problem... After many days and many emails, phone calls and chat conversations i received an email to send the second device back but with the send label from the rma where the imei from the first device was. That sounded strange to me and ask about it, the cs told me its ok they gonna take care of it intern. So i did send it. Device arrived to them on 11 November ( in the mean time i am receiving emails that if i don't send the rma device back they gonna charge me again 613 euro) . On the 16 November i see on my credit card that they have charge me 613 euro again.
Immediately i write them and direct on the employee who arranged it but till today no answer from him. So again phone calls emails cs chats but no solution. They said they have opened a ticket and i should wait.

I am stuck with a faulty device and they have taken 1226 euro from me. I am becoming no serious answer and i have to pay the 613 euro with interest.

What serious company behave like this to the costumers?
I am really really disappointed from them. The worst experience so far.

I have already contacted my lawyer and the costumer security in Deutschland.
