Phone slow after update

Hey. My pixel 3xl is running slow and sometimes even crashes after the new android 11 update. Phone becomes really hot while charging too. enabled safe mode as per instructions seen under someone's post but still it doesn't feel right. Help

If it still happens in safe mode, please try factory resetting

Becuase if the phone isn't slow in safe mode then it means one of those third party apps is causing the slowness

We can't use all the apps in safe mode. So what's the use of it?

Thank you. Will see if the phone heating up problem goes after safe mode too.
