Chat Bubbles don't work Android 11

Just upgraded to Android 11 and saw the chat bubble feature yet I don't get the bubble icon on the bottom right of notifications nor do they give me the bubble when it's set to priority etc. Anyone have the same problem?

Bubbles started randomly working today for me, but only for facebook messenger. (Pixel 2)

Bubble notifications are only for certain apps. You need to enable it in the specific app notificaiton settings as well as turn on from the general notificaitons settings

Ok. I have yet to see a bubble on my Pixel XL in my Google SMS ever! What's the deal with that, please?

@mark mccurry, same here. No bubble action yet on my Pixel 5, not even an option within a text message to apply said feature.

I've tried everything and still can't get chat bubbles to work on my Pixel 5. I'm referring to Google messages. Works on Messages beta but I don't want to stay on the beta and I'm wondering when this will be fixed. Messages was just updated today and still no luck. Fix this please!

Is there a resolution to this? I just upgraded from a Samsung S7 to a Pixel 4a 5g and I've been trying for days to get the bubbles to work. I've tried absolutely everything. I use messenger for so much and it's useless if I can't get the heads or any notifications.

This has clearly been happening for months so where's the resolution?

I just spent an hour on support with google on this. Three different reps and by the time i got to the third he claimed they didn't know this is an issue. All 800 of these reports are apparently invisible to them

Well, I finally got bubbles to work on my pixel 3xl. Coincidentally, the messages app updated today and it started working. Here's a screenshot

started working last night on my P3XL & wifes P4XL with no action on our part.

They must have finally figured it out and pushed something server-side.

Same here. Yesterday all of a sudden bubbles started working in messenger. There were no updates to the is or app. So must have been a server side issue.
