How to restore default wallpaper in my Pixel 3A?

I changed my wallpaper for my Pixel 3a, but now I want to get back to the default wallpaper. I can not figure it out how to do.

Yeah, that's quite strange. I spent quite some time digging through the phone's file system (and APKs) and wasn't able to find that one. I don't get it.

I did find the correct image in an album online though:

I think it's in the Pixel launcher system.

But use this method, you will get back to default wallpaper

1. Choose and turn on daily wallpapers
2. Go to settings > search for "Google wallpaper images" then Force stop it.

3. You will get the default wallpaper on home screen

Are you connected to the internet while trying to select wallpapers?

I don't have a Pixel 3a to test, but if you can't really find the default wallpaper in the stock wallpapers app, you can download it from here and use it as wallpaper.

Hello,

Long press on an empty area on home screen, tap 'Wallpapers' and you will be taken to a wallpaper selection screen. Look around till you find the default wallpaper and set it.

Yes, this is the default wallpaper. However, I can not locate it.

I did download the wallpaper image from the web, but it is really very curious that we can not locate the image file in the system.

My Pixel 3a unaccountably changed the display background (wallpaper?) and now the app icons look weird. I can't find the original background anywhere. It's not in Wallpapers. Is there a way to specify NO wallpaper or something else that will return my phone to something that isn't so annoying? Thanks.

Sorry, figured it out. The phone got into a wrong setting in Accessibility. Although I couldn't find the original wallpaper, the bigger issue was this setting, so I'm OK. But thanks for responding.

The force stop method does NOT work on my 3a. Maintains the last, or first in this case, wallpaper.

Enable daily wallpaper and set the suggested wallpaper. Then go to the wallpaper app and force stop it. If you just enable daily wallpaper then force stop (without setting new wallpaper) nothing happens and the stock wallpaper won't return.

Hint of course I longpressed on the homescreen and went to wallpapers already.

To restore the default wallpaper go to settings - Display - Designs & Background (on english devices maybe named Appearance) and then choose the Standard Design.

If it is already marked choose it again and apply.
