Strong camera issue. Image distortion and shaking videos. 1 Recommended Answer 16 Replies 57 Upvotes

After I quit Android Q beta 2 version and restored official Android I'm noticing rear camera issue- image distortion and focus instability. It shakes in video/photo mode. I tried safe boot, cleared apps cache, rebooting twice, restoring to default settings, tried another camera app and nothing has helped me. I'm not noticing same issue with front camera.

I basicly baught a pixel 3 for my wife and she kept complaining that the video was shaky I thought maybe she had shaky hand we went to a store and they had the pixel 3 there and that one didnt shake at all when I record basicly first one I got off u guys was a 3pixel that had issues with sim now camera and the problem was there from day one. They told me to return and they will send me a refurbished phone What an absolute joke stop selling lemons

Hi, I have the same as well. When i'm shooting video or still photos, i see the problem. it looks like the image stabilisation is reacting strongly to very small movement. If i rest the camera on a hard surface, there is no wobbling. If i hand hold the camera still, the image jumps around. This has just started recently, in the last month or so.
