Update killed my Pixel 4a battery

So my Pixel 4a got hit with the new update yesterday and the battery went from lasting 5-6 hours to lasting, at best, 1.5 hours, and often shutting down suddenly. I want to get the battery replaced, as per the Pixel 4a Battery Performance Program, but every single place listed is either unaware of the program or does not answer the phone (even the Google Store in Mountain View). It is super frustrating. They've effectively killed my phone and I seem to have no recourse. Can I roll back the update?

BEWARE - Payoneer, the company Google uses to pay the lousy $50 for ruining your phone charges $3 to pay you and $30 a year! So you have to call them and cancel your account after you get the $47.
And a new battery isn't goig to solve anything as my battery worked OK before. There's no chip on a battery it just clips in. Ans to repace they have to install a new digitizer because of they way the phone is made the screen cracks getting it off.
I would use the $100 towards a Pixel but now I hate them and the form factor is too big for my hands cuz of nerve damage.
The stress alone of all this they should just give everyone a new phone - this is hell!

Hi J. M. Hdez.  At the bottom of the page HERE there is a Contact Us link that you can use to speak with a Pixel Support agent.  I'm sorry there's nothing else that we're able to suggest here if your local repair shop will not make enquiries on your behalf.

Regards, Penny.

I'll escalate this thread for the attention of our Community Manager's team so they will understand the extent of the issues people are having.

That's terrible to hear about Payoneer. Insane that we're being made to pay for receiving a pittance. And yes, I LOVED my Pixel 4a because of the size, free photo storage and because it has a headphone jack. All the new ones feel like a downgrade, and one I am being forced to pay for.

@J.M. Hdez.  Could you please fill in the form HERE, providing the Case ID number you should have obtained from Pixel Support when you contacted them.  This is necessary for our Community Manager's team to make further enquiries.

Please do not post Case ID numbers in this thread as they contain sensitive information.

Thank you.

Hi,

I submitted the form about ten days ago, but nobody has gotten back to me. Still have a barely usable phone after the system update.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry not to be able to help more here but escalating is the extent of my remit. You could try requesting a replacement again as more carriers and repair centres may now be aware of the circumstances..
