Phone sometimes has a static white noise sound. I can't turn it off. It runs when not using phone.

Hi Sara,
Have you tried restarting the phone into Safe Mode where all 3rd-party apps are disabled? It would help to discover whether an app you have installed is causing this.

Hi Janis,
If the issue persists in Safe Mode then you need to establish whether there is a hardware fault causing this.
You can do that by performing a Factory Data Reset from Settings but not restoring from backups, installing apps as needed them until the issue recurs.
However, if you have a desktop machine handy, then you could try flashing a Recovery OTA as explained here.

On phone speaker opened the frequency generator app. For mid frequencies there's a strange glitch - on low volume it sounds fine, but on higher volumes single frequency monotone tone starts to oscillate and distort. Would really need a video with audio to give an exact reaction, but I don't have anything to record with ATM.
I also tried to connect headphones through the USB -C adapter - in my headphones it sounds without any problems. Just a monotone tone at all volumes.
Anyone has an idea what exactly is gone wrong? My first guess would be an "audio card" like in the computer. IDK how it's implemented in the phone, but could be similar. Only thing that confuses me in this case is that my headphones work fine.
Is there a logic in phone speaker itself? If there were only distortions I'd guess the speaker itself is faulty, but it also changes the frequency (oscillating) I hear and that puzzles me.

Hi Janis,
It might be best to reach out to a Support Specialist and have them investigate - via Settings > Tips & support or by requesting a callback on a different phone via this link.
You will need to do this within a county where the phone is officially sold and a warranty claim can only be made within the country of purchase.
