Same thing for me guys. Contacted Google and they said the aren't gonna be able to anything. Thinking of never buying pixels again. A trillion dollar company is scamming it's patrons.

I completely agree, this is just a disgrace for Google. Disregarding attitude towards users. This was my last pixel smartphone (6). In the meantime, I'm looking for an alternative, IMHO I'm tired of eternal problems with fast discharge and communication problems 3g/4g

I got similar issue after may update. My phone glitched after installing the update and wouldn't unlock. I tried to rollback the software, but failed due to OEM lock, tried to reinstall actual version, but it failed due to some error, then tried data wipe through recovery also without luck.

My phone was stuck in lock screen, I was lucky enough to unlock it by accessing settings menu from upper status bar, turned out that most of my system apps were 0 Bytes in size, tried wipe from settings menu and only then it worked!

It's my first Pixel phone and it's hard to imagine Google struggling to deliver flawless iteration of their system for their own hardware...

Experiencing same issue here. Silly me doing trade in for a Pixel 8, and I suppose to send my Pixel 6 back to them in the next 3 days. Please tell me what should I do now...

Another bricked 6 Pro here. Super frustrating and had to buy another phone when the 6 Pro had many years left and worked fine until it bricked.

I am experiencing the exact same issue. ADB (loads up to 49%), Sideload, rescue mode... none work. I would really like for my wife to use her phone again.

Same issue, sadly I just got the phone and it was working fine. Went to do a clean reset to transfer contacts. After 6 hours of attempts to fix and a call to Google, Nothing... All they want out of you is information on the phones warranty. And if not the nearest repair dealer to pay for service. No type of actual technical support or information regarding this issue or anything like it. As much as I like Google and it's device and UI. This has left a scar on my trust of this company and my willingness to invest in their products. My guess it's they are experiencing a major software error that is rendering their devices useless. Probably due to a recent update*June, Hence all of these users experiencing this at the same time. And they are in a panic of Diagnosing and repairing the issue. In the mean time thinking of how to respond to users and press. Just sucks that are leaving a bunch of their users in a sad desperate. Probably with no plans to compensate unless your under 1 year warranty on a 3 year old phone! Sad coming from a powerhouse brand like Google. Shame on them.

Like everyone else, I'm having the same issue.  Just started glitching out all of a sudden and couldn't get past the lock screen.  It was doing it earlier this morning, I thought I fixed it, but now it just stays on the Android Recovery tab the whole time. I've had Pixel's for years and love them, so this is a first--I'm pretty disappointed.  I'm holding off on factory reset based on the comments below.  I use this as my work-phone so it puts me in some tricky situations.  This is what my error looks like:

Android Recovery
google/cheetah/cheetah
14/AP2A.240605.024/11860263
user/release-keys
Use volume up/down and power.

"Cannot load Android system.  YOur data may be corrupt.  If you continue to get this message, you may need to perform a factory data reset and erase all user data stored on this device"

Same issue on my case.

Thanks for sharing!
Google has been a shadow of its former self for years. Ever since they removed "Don't be evil" from their statutes, things have only gone downhill. Google search has become very bad, Google Maps reviews are fake since the AI blocked all the authentic reviews and you could go on and on. Google will soon be finished if they carry on like this. It's better to get rid of your shares and stop investing in Google software and hardware

My P6A just bricked itself as well. I had just updated to the latest security patch, then decided to reset. Bad move...
