WhatsApp Video calls zoomed in on my pixel 6 pro device

I saw this question on the community, replying to this has been locked! This issue is still not resolved and I think there may be other users like me still facing this annoying problem. 
Ever since I bought the Pixel 6 pro device, my video on WhatsApp Video calls is always Zoomed in. It looks okay in the preview window but it looks zoomed in to the other person. My camera works fine with other applications. 
I tried contact WhatsApp support they asked me to clear cache - google photos, google play services and reinstall WhatsApp and restart my phone. But none of the options worked. 
Please let me know if anyone has been able to fix this issue and share the solution.
