Still having connection issues on Pixel 6 pro after January update.
Edit: forgot to mention that my work around right now is to turn wifi calling off, which results in no drops

Hi Zeratul
Please see if resetting network settings after the update helps:
Settings > System > Reset options > Reset WiFi, mobile and Bluetooth

Hi, an update from me. I have been affected by this problem just like many others and had also posted my problems in this thread.
After I have written for months with the google support and I just like everyone else was always put off to the next update, I have repeatedly asked to finally send me a replacement device!
They sent me a refurbished device at first. I complained about this, because I did not want to get a refurbished device. My NEW device was defective from the beginning and I wanted to have a NEW replacement device. But Google did not want to agree to that. So I tested if the connection issues were fixed with the refurbished device. Unfortunately, the connection issue was still there even with the refurbished device. I had several disconnections every hour! So I sent the refurbished device back and asked again to send me a new replacement device. I was again put off and promised that the problem would be fixed with the June update. Unfortunately, the problem was not fixed with the June update, so I insisted again to send me a new replacement device. After another 5-6 emails with the google support, they finally sent me a new replacement device.
I installed the latest update on the replacement device and then did a full RESET. I then set up the new device with the same SIM card, the same apps, and the same settings as the defective device.
I have been using the new device daily for about 1 month now and I have not had a single disconnect!
I can only advise everyone who has the same problem to get a new replacement device. It is obvious that some of the first devices have a hardware defect and all the software updates will not solve the problem.

Last week on a trip with the family, my phone constantly lost service and the music would stop. My wife was on her iphone, using the same mobile network talking on her phone. We finally switched to her phone to listen to music and it has no issues.
If I get on an elevator I have to toggle airplane mode on and off for my pixel 6 pro to look for a network when I get off the elevator. This is not acceptable. Either fix this issue immediately or you lose a long time pixel/Android user.

I talked to Google several times, at one point the admitted that they couldn't give me a replacement because this was an issue with the model not my particular handset. They said the Next update would fix it and it would come out by June.
Several updates later, even after a whole new android os the problem persists. I feel like this is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.
We paid over $1000 in some cases, to have a phone that only works sometimes...
I hope they give us a good deal on the 7 since this model was trash.
