who else has had their google pixel 6 pro screen crack on them while charging or while it wasnt used

my google pixel 6 pro screen cracked in my loose fitting jean pocket after i heard a pop 4 days into owning the device. now in almost 3 weeks another pop and new crack across the screen.

who is also experiencing this? i asked on reddit and got a bunch other responses of similar things happening to people or even screen popping on the pixel stand or charging regularly.

Mine had a scratch on it after being in my pocket near my keys. It then cracked from falling from a small height. It's is $550 aud to fix.

I am currently using my pixel 4 xl which I have used for years no cracks or scratches. I really feel like my screen was faulty. Weak.

I don't know why they made the screens so fragile. Mine cracked less than 24 hours of owning it. I only bought it 4 days ago.

Yep happened to me, I took it out of my pocket and thought it was a scratch to start with. It looks like it was dropped only I know it wasn't. It's in a Google case and it cracked under where the case covered it. Very disappointed.

Pixel 6 Pro. Just woke up to a pop and my display cracked. I did not drop or mishandle the phone at all whatsoever. It's had a case and a screen protector on since I pulled it out of the box. This is ridiculous. Again. No drops and I did not mishandle the device in any way. It was plugged in on my night stand. It is cracked under where my case and screen protector cover. There is no way something hit it there and cracked it. This was a mechanical malfunction on the phone.
