My new Pixel 6 Pro keeps having NO SERVICE. Restart required to temporarily resolve.
6
At random intervals the phone service just drops entirely showing NO SERVICE or NO SIM in the top left of the lock screen and on the top right, the signal strength shows an exclamation mark ! . The only way to restore connectivity is the restart the phone where it will only temporarily be working again.

When it says NO SIM it still detects the SIM in Settings > Network and internet > SIMs

I have tried the following to troubleshoot the issue:
New SIM - I had my number moved to a new SIM but this did not help.
New eSIM - I purchased an eSIM from another carrier but this did not help.
Factory Reset - Again, no change and the issue continues.

No data or apps were moved from an old phone, it was set up as a new device.

Any advice would be great.

Update 1 (06/11/2021): I am still using my original phone and didn't have it replaced.

The issue has been resolved for me.

I was having this issue intermittently multiple times a day from the 26th of Oct until 5th of November.
I received an update to Carrier Services and I haven't had the issue since.
The issue was either software or related to my service provider.
In my case anyway it was NOT a hardware issue.
All I can recommend is that you make sure that you are running the latest system update and update all apps through the Play Store.

Update 2 (16/12/2021): THE ISSUES ARE BACK! I downloaded and installed the latest system update (SQ1D.211205.016.A1) and I have had the signal icon change to no signal with an exclamation mark ! again five times in less than 24 hours (it would be more but i'm not staring at my phone just waiting for it to f* up so that i can restart it). Here we go again...

I have contacted Google's device support and submitted a bug report...

Have similar problem with a Pixel 4 after Android 12 update. First a restart would enable network connection again. Now nothing helps anymore,  and can only use the phone with WiFi.

Cards are detected,  even asks me for PIN on restart but then still says no Sim.

My unlocked 6 pro loses service a lot as well. I'm using it on Verizon.

Seeing the same thing on my wife's brand new pixel 6.  Verizon store rep muttered something about it being a problem with unlocked phones (which I don't quite get, considering my pixel 4 is unlocked) and he could fix it but it was a huge hassle involving some things he had to change on the back end.  He was flustered and busy with multiple customers so we left to come back later.  In the mean time I read elsewhere that you can activate it via e-sim on Verizons website.

All of you should file feedback reports while troubleshooting this issue. This should not be happening.
