Troubleshoot your cable, power adapter, outlet & case
Important: For the best battery experience and charging speeds, we recommend using the Google 30 W USB-C power adapter or any Programmable Power Supply (PPS) power adapter rated for 30 W or more. You could also use other USB Power Delivery (PD) adapters rated for 15 W or more, but actual charging speeds will be determined by your Pixel.
Check that your power adapter & cable work- Try to charge another device with your power adapter and cable.
- Check that the cable is securely connected to the adapter and to your phone.
- Check that there's nothing in the port of your phone, like dust or lint.
- Try to charge your phone with another cable or power adapter.
If you get a “Check charging accessory” notification, it means your cable or USB power adapter may not be supported by your phone or it might be broken. This can make your phone charge very slowly or not charge at all.
To fix this, try charging with a cable and charger that works with your phone. Learn which cables and power adapters to use for your Pixel phone.
- Plug the charger into a wall outlet.
- Plug in something else, like a lamp.
- Check that no accessories, like cases or battery packs, cover the sensors on your phone or press its buttons.
If you experience intermittent charging issues with your Qi2-certified Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, or Pixel 10 Pro Fold, it may be due to certain Qi1-certified in-vehicle wireless chargers. To fix this issue:
- Remove your phone from your car’s wireless charging pad.
- Remove any phone case, PopSocket, magnetic attachment, or other accessories from your phone.
- Place your phone back on the center of the charging pad.
- Check if your phone starts charging.
Tip: This issue is common with vertical in-vehicle chargers because the charging coils in the phone and charger may not align perfectly.
If the wireless charging issue continues
- Use a wired connection for stable charging.
- Contact your vehicle or charger manufacturer for info about compatibility with Qi2-certified devices.
For a reliable wireless charging experience, use a Qi2-certified charger. You can find “Made for Google” certified accessories that are compatible with your phone at get.google.com/madefor.
