Google has determined that a limited number of Pixel 9 Pro Fold devices may experience issues that affect functionality of the device. Google offers an extended warranty program to provide support coverage for affected Pixel 9 Pro Fold devices for 3 years after the date of original retail purchase.
Your Pixel 9 Pro Fold device may be eligible for this Extended Warranty Program if it exhibits issues that affect functionality of the device. If your phone is ineligible for the Extended Warranty Program, but you are experiencing other issues, your phone may still be covered under Google’s Limited Warranty. Review Google’s limited warranty for details.
Get warranty program details
Important: Cracked displays or cover-glass may disqualify your device. Damage like liquid intrusion also affects eligibility. Your phone might not qualify for this program. If your phone isn't eligible for repair through the Extended Repair Program, or if it has been damaged out of warranty damage, then there may be a fee to repair your phone.
This program does not extend Google's liability for other phone issues which may be covered under Google's Limited Guarantee.
If your Pixel 9 Pro Fold is impacted, you may be eligible for a replacement at no charge.
Replacements are available starting December 8, 2025. Depending on your location and eligibility you may receive a replacement online, an on-site replacement at a Google Store, or a walk-in center may authorize an online replacement. We recommend you check your support options to see what online and in-store options are available to you.
After receiving your phone, the facility will inspect your phone before starting the replacement to verify that it’s eligible for this program. The program provides replacement at no charge for eligible Pixel 9 Pro Fold devices. Any replacement under this Extended Warranty Program is warrantied for 90 days subject to local consumer laws.
Tip: Back up your data before sending it in. Open your phone's Settings app. Go to System, then Backup, and select Backup now.

You may be asked to provide proof of ownership when you claim a support option. Support options may not be available in all countries, as permitted by law. Certain support options may only be available to individuals who have reached the age of majority in their country or state of residence.
You may be required to confirm that you are 18 years of age or older to redeem these specific options. Support options cannot be changed once your selection has been processed.
This Pixel 9 Pro Fold Program provides rights separate to statutory rights provided to you by consumer law in the country where you purchased the device. Those statutory rights are not restricted by this program. If available to you, you may alternatively make a claim pursuant to those rights.
