Change language settings on a Pixel phone

You can change the language your phone uses.

1. Open your phone's Settings app.
2. Tap System Languages System Languages.
   
3. To add a language:
   1. Tap Add a language .
   2. Choose the language that you want to use.
   3. Touch and drag your language to the top of the list.
4. To remove a language:
   1. At the top, tap More Remove.
   2. Pick a language.
   3. At the top, tap Delete .

Tip: When you add additional languages to your System settings, it helps your phone detect that language and customize content.

Change the language setting for a specific app

1. On your Android phone, open your Settings app.
2. Tap System Languages App languages.
3. Select the app that you want to change.
4. Choose a language.

Tip: To change the user language setting, the app must support language selection.
