How to tell if you're "out of warranty"
- The damage to your device isn't covered by the original manufacturer, like water damage.
- The manufacturer's warranty has expired.
- The Preferred Care service plan coverage has expired or the damage is not covered.
Out of warranty service
If you purchased your device in the US or Canada, contact your authorized walk-in center for available service options. The out of warranty service is available for a minimum of 3 years after the date of the purchase of the device. Batteries are not user replaceable.
