How to tell if you're "out of warranty"
- The damage to your device isn't covered by the original manufacturer, like water damage.
- The manufacturer's warranty has expired.
- The Preferred Care service plan coverage has expired or the damage is not covered.
Get your device fixed
If you purchased your device in the US or Canada, you can have your out of warranty device repaired at an authorized walk-in repair center as listed below. The out of warranty repair service is available for a minimum of 3 years after the date of the purchase of the device. Batteries are not user replaceable, please contact the authorized walk-in repair centers for batteries replacements.
