Video Upload Requirements
Upload videos to Picasa Web Albums using Picasa. Here's a summary of the video specifications to keep in mind for the best results when uploading to Picasa Web Albums.

.3gp, .avi, .asf, .mov, .wmv, .mpg, .mp4, .m2t, .mmv, .m2ts
Picasa Web Albums does not accept Flash (.flv) or Real Media Video (.rm) files
|Video Playback Quality||Videos are converted into a flash format (.FLV) and, depending on the quality of your original file, will be available in standard definition (240p, 360p, or 480p) up to high definition (720p or 1080p) playback.|
|Uploading Size Limit||1 GB|
|Resolution||Recommended: 1280 x 720 pixels|
|Bit Rate||There's no minimum value for Bit Rates since this depends on the codec, however video files above 260 Kbps work the best.|
Recommended: 30 frames per second
Minimum requirement: 12 frames per second
|Codec||H.264, H.263, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, Windows Media Video, and motion JPEG|
Recommended: 4:3 frame
Try to mantain the aspect ratio of the original source file.
Your videos can take time to be converted in .FLV format upon upload. Don't worry if you see a "Video is currently unavailable" message. Try your upload again if it doesn't work the first time.
It's not possible to download videos from Picasa Web Albums at this time.
