Get suggestions to share with your contacts

When you take photos of your contacts, you can get suggestions to share these photos with them.

Turn on face grouping to get suggestions to share. Learn more about face grouping.

Find suggestions to share photos

To see your suggestions: 

  1. On your computer, open photos.google.com.
  2. Click Sharing. Any suggestions to share will appear under Suggestions.

You may get a suggestion to share photos with contacts that:

Before you share photos from a suggestion, you can change the photos or the people to share with.

  1. On the suggestion card, click Review.
  2. Select people to share with.
    • To add or change recipients, click “To.
    • You may also see face groups found in the photos. To add a recipient, click Who is this? and select a contact. Learn more about face grouping.
  3. Choose the photos to share. You can also add more photos.
  4. Optional: Add a title or a message.
  5. Click Send. Learn more about sharing photos & videos.

See skipped suggestions and delete or review them

If you delete a skipped suggestion, you’ll remove all info about it, including whether you’ve skipped it before. You may see a similar card later.

  1. On your computer, open photos.google.com.
  2. Click Sharing.
  3. At the top, click More More and then Skipped suggestions.
  4. Click Review or Delete.

Turn off notifications

When you take new photos, you may get a notification to share these photos. 

  1. On your computer, open photos.google.com.
  2. Click Menu Menuand then Settings and then Notifications
  3. Click Suggested sharing.
