When you create a calling card, you can use it:
- To personalize calls with a full-screen image.
- For incoming calls when your phone is locked.
- When you make an outgoing call.
- As the contact photo or as a separate image.
- Share your full screen image with other people.
Important: This feature requires:
- Phone app with version 210 and up
- Contacts app 4.73.27 and up
- Google Play Services version 2025.42 and up
Set up your own calling card
- On your Android device, open the Phone app

- Tap Settings

- Under “Your calling card,” tap Create.
- On the "Create your calling card" screen, tap Continue as (Your name).
- You can pick a font and text color you like.
- Choose a photo for your calling card:
- To pick a Google Photos image: Tap Photos

- To take a photo: Tap Camera
.
- To choose from your gallery: Tap Gallery
.
- You can adjust the photo position and scale it.
- To pick a Google Photos image: Tap Photos
- Tap Next.
- On the "Preview your calling card" screen, review your card.
- To choose who can view your calling card, under “Show calling card to," you can select:
- Only your contacts: This is selected by default. Both you and the recipient have each other saved as contacts.
- Everyone you talk to: Only the recipient has saved you as a contact.
- This ensures your image isn’t shared with strangers.
- Tap Done.
If the call recipient sets up a calling card for you, the system displays their custom calling card instead of the one you created.
Update your own calling card
- On your Android device, open the Phone app

- Tap Settings

- Update your calling card’s image, font, and text color.
- Tap Done.
Stop displaying your calling card to others
- On your Android device, open the Phone app
.
- Tap Settings

- Tap Remove
Confirm.
Create a contact calling card
- On your Android device, open the Phone app
.
- Tap Settings
Calling Card.
- Under “Contact calling card,” tap Create.
- When they call you, their calling card shows.
Set up a calling card for a contact
- On your Android device, open the Phone app

- Tap Get started.
- Alternatively, tap Menu

- Choose a photo from your device:
- To pick a Google Photos image: Tap Google Photos

- On your Android device, open the Phone app
