Statement of account

The Statement of account (SOA) page in the Google payments center provides a real-time and customizable view of your complete financial standing with Google. You can:

  • View owed balance information and invoices, broken out by aging status
  • Find and filter billing information by attributes like month of service, product, or currency
  • Find and filter billing information at an Operating company or Client level (if you’re part of a holding company)
  • Find all billing documents:
    • Monthly invoices
    • Credit memos
    • Debit memos
    • Tax documents

If you’re part of a holding company, your statements are on the top left of the SOA page. Select a statement to view its up-to-date summary information.

If you’re not part of a holding company, you’ll find the statement of account for your payments profile. If you have multiple payments profiles, select which one you’d like to view from the profile selector on the top right of the page.

Select a blue link on the page to find a filtered list of specific invoices in the "Billing documents" table. You can download the table to view your statement information offline. You can also download documents individually or in bulk. Learn more about this table.

Access

To access the Online Statement of Account in the Google payments center, sign in to payments.google.com and select Statement of Account.

If you’re unable to sign in or don’t see your information

To sign in to payments center and view your payments profile, you need to be listed as a payments user with at least "Read Access" on your payments profile. If you have multiple payments profiles, you need to be a payments user on each one. If you need to become a payments user, contact your collector or the collections team at "collections@google.com."

If you’re part of an agency holding company, you’ll need access to:

  • Your payments profile
  • Specific agency statements under that payments profile

If you can sign in to payments.google.com and see your holding company payments profile, but do not see the statement you need from the selector on the left hand side, you might not have been added to that statement yet. Please contact your collector for access.

SOA features

Total amount due

Summarizes your open invoices by aging status:

  • Not due yet: Invoices that are open but not due soon
  • Due soon: Invoices that are coming due in the next 20 days
  • Overdue: Invoices that have become overdue
  • At risk: Invoices that have become overdue, and need to be paid to avoid suspension of services
  • Suspended: Invoices that need to be paid to reactivate suspended accounts

To find the specific invoices included in an amount, next to the amount, click View.

To find all of your invoices that are currently open,at the top right, click View open invoices.

This card only summarizes currently open invoices and debit memos. You can find information about open credits in the "Unapplied credits" card and the "Group by" card below.

Any invoices currently under dispute are included in the "Total amount due" card. An invoice currently under dispute isn’t shown as "At Risk" while the dispute is in progress. Invoices in this state don’t add to suspension risk.

Invoices in dispute

Displays the number and total balance invoices currently under dispute. For example, invoices might be in dispute because you requested an invoice correction or rebill.

Unapplied credits

Displays the number and total balance of unapplied credit memos across your Google payments accounts. If you have credits from any past unapplied payments, that credit balance will appear here too.

Credit memos can be used to reduce the balance due on an invoice. For example, a credit memo may represent a credit from invalid ad clicks or a courtesy credit.

If you’re not part of a holding company, you can use Google payments center to apply open credits to an open invoice. Learn how to pay an invoice with credits.

If you’re part of a holding company, you can provide your collector with the credit memo number and invoice number you want it applied to. You can contact your collector by emailing collections@google.com.

Group by

You can group your open invoices by:

  • Month of issue
  • Operating Company (only applicable to holding companies)
  • Client (only applicable to holding companies)

In the table, to find the specific set of invoices that represent that amount or category, click any of the blue text links. For example, you can find all of your unpaid Google Ads invoices from January that put your accounts at risk of suspension. Click to filter the table by "Product" and "Month of issue," then click the "At risk" amount for Google Ads in January.

To quickly return to a specific set of filters, you can save that set of filters as a "view." At the top, click Save View.
