Add, edit, or remove a payment method

If you’re an admin or full-access user, you can add, edit, or remove payment methods associated with your Google payments profile.

To see your payment methods, sign in to Payment methods.

Add a payment method

You can add credit cards, debit cards, bank accounts, and other payment methods to your payments profile.

  1. Check to make sure the card or bank account you want to add is on the list of accepted payment methods.
  2. Sign in to Payment methods.
  3. Choose Add a payment method.
  4. Enter payment method details and follow any instructions.
    • If you’re adding a card: You may see a small "pending" charge on your bank account. This helps us verify your card. It will disappear later and won’t affect your account balance.
    • If you’re adding a bank account in the United States: You might be asked to verify your account through instant verification.
  5. Choose Save updates.

Update a payment method

You can update your card or bank account information without having to remove the original listing.

  1. Sign in to Payment methods.
  2. Next to the payment method you want to delete, tap or click Update.

Delete a payment method

  1. Sign in to Payment methods.
  2. Next to the payment method you want to delete, tap or click Remove.
