About the Virtual Card

For certain online purchases, your full credit or debit card information won't be shared with the seller. Instead, Google will complete your payment using a virtual debit MasterCard or Discover card number. This number is known as the Google Virtual Card, and is issued by the Bancorp Bank.

Once Google uses the Virtual Card to make the payment with the seller, we'll charge the credit or debit card in your account. These transactions may not earn your regular rewards or be eligible for certain benefits.

Contact the seller if you have any questions about your order. Keep in mind that you may need to provide them with the last four digits of the Virtual Card, which you can find in the "Funded by" section of your Google payments transaction receipt.
