Save cards to Google Pay

After you've requested and have been granted access to the Google Pay API for Passes and created your Google Pay API for Passes Merchant Center account, you can use the the API to allow customers to use your loyalty cards, gift cards, offers, boarding passes, and event tickets

Loyalty cards

The Google Pay API for Passes lets Google Pay users save your loyalty cards on any Android mobile device that has access to the cloud. They'll then get location-based notifications reminding them to use it when they're in your store. When they make a purchase, they can easily share their loyalty info by showing the barcode on their device or by automatically sending it via NFC at your point-of-sale terminal. They can also use the Google Pay app to track their activity, rewards, and loyalty status.  

Loyalty linked offers 

When you let your customers use your loyalty cards through Google Pay, you can also use the Google Pay API for Passes  to make loyalty linked offers. You can create special offers and notifications only for customers that have your loyalty card saved to Google Pay.

The Google Pay API for Passes can even help you send location-based notifications to remind customers to use your offers when they’re in your store!

Gift cards

The Google Pay API for Passes lets Google Pay users save, view, and use their gift cards on any Android mobile device that has access to the cloud. They'll then get location-based notifications reminding them to use your offer when they're in your store. When they make a purchase, they can easily redeem the gift card by showing the barcode on their device or by automatically sending the info via NFC (through what is called "2 tap"). They can also use the Google Pay app to track their gift card activity and balance. 

Offers

The Google Pay API for Passes lets Google Pay users view and use their saved offers on any Android device that's connected to the cloud. Users will get location-based notifications reminding them to use their offers when they're in your store. When they make a purchase, they can easily redeem the offers by showing the barcode on their phone or automatically sending the info via NFC at your point-of-sale terminal. They can also use the Google Pay app to track whether the offers are expired.  

Boarding passes

The Google Pay API for Passes lets Google Pay users view and use their saved boarding passes on any Android device that's connected to the cloud. Users will get notifications reminding them of their upcoming flight. When they're at the gate, they can board by showing the barcode on their phone or automatically send their boarding information via NFC. They can also use the Google Pay app to track whether the flight is delayed, or any relevant updates you create using the Google Pay API for Passes. 

Event tickets

The Google Pay API for Passes lets Google Pay users view and use their saved tickets on any Android device that's connected to the cloud. Users will get notifications reminding them of their upcoming event. When they're at the event venue, they can enter by showing the barcode on their phone or automatically send their ticket information via NFC. They can also use the Google Pay app to track relevant updates you make to the event or ticket through the Google Pay API for Passes.
