Overview

Google Pay for Business is a simple and secure payment app by Google. If a merchant (“you,” “merchant,” or “referee”) has been invited by a customer to come aboard Google Pay using a referral link, just use the link shared by the customer to download the Google Pay for Business app. Once you are verified as a Google Pay for Business merchant, your customer referrer will earn a scratch card and you’ll earn ₹50! 

How to earn your referral bonus

1. Download the Google Pay for Business app: Using the unique invite link shared by the customer. 
2. Set up your business to accept payments: You must set up your business in the app for the first time between 26 May 2020 and 30 June 2020. Existing merchants, or merchants who have previously set up a business with Google Pay for Business will not qualify. 
   1. Your business is deemed to have been successfully set-up in the Google Pay for Business app as of the date you complete all the steps required for successful signup (including providing all required details and adding a bank account) such that you are able to accept customer payments through Google Pay (“Business Set-Up Date”).
3.  Once set up is complete and you can accept customer payments through Google Pay, you will receive a locked scratch card. 
4. Verify your business: In order to unlock the scratch card to receive the ₹50 reward, you must become a verified Google Pay for Business merchant by following the process below: 
   1. Tapping on My Store in the Google Pay for Business App and proceeding to the “Verify your business” option; and
   2. Following the in-app instructions to be verified as Google Pay for Business merchant.
   3. Merchants verified by outreach street team members (“outreach team”) will be disqualified. Only merchant initiated verifications per in-app instructions, and without accompanying outreach team verification, will qualify.
   4. Verification must be initiated and completed within 30 days after you have set up your business in the Google Pay for Business app. 

This offer is not available for and may not be combined with any acquisition or verification by outreach teams. Merchants set up and/or verified by an outreach team member are not eligible.

You can earn a maximum of one reward during the offer period.

• To redeem this offer:
  1. Download the Google Pay for Business app using the unique invite link shared: To qualify for this offer you must both download the Google Pay for Business app for the first time and successfully set up its business to accept payments during the Offer Period using your unique invite link  (unique_invite_link). Existing merchants, or merchants who have previously set up a business with Google Pay for Business will not qualify.
  2. Set up your business to accept payments: You must set up your business with the Google Pay for Business app by following in-app prompts to complete each of these steps, including entering all required details and adding a bank account. Once set up is complete and you can accept customer payments through Google Pay, you will receive a locked scratch card.
  3. Merchant verification: In order to unlock the scratch cards to receive cash rewards, you must become a verified Google Pay for Business merchant using an eligible verification method. You can initiate the eligible verification process by:
     1. Tapping on My Store in the Google Pay for Business App and proceeding to the “Verify your business” option.
     2. Following the in-app instructions to be verified as Google Pay for Business merchant.
     3. Merchants verified by outreach street team members (“outreach team”) will be disqualified. Only merchant initiated verifications per in-app instructions, and without accompanying outreach team verification, will qualify.
• Verification must be initiated and completed within 30 days after you have set up your business in the Google Pay for Business app in order to unlock scratch card cash rewards. If you have not achieved verified merchant status using an eligible verification method within 30 days after setting up, the locked scratch card associated with this offer will expire. 
• This offer is not available for and may not be combined with any acquisition or verification by outreach teams. Merchants set up and/or verified by an outreach team member are not eligible.
• You can earn a maximum of one reward during the offer period. 
• Each Google Pay for Business merchant can only use one set of Google Pay credentials that has not been previously registered with Google Pay for Business, which includes but is not limited to a Google Account and phone number to qualify this offer.
• The customer (“referrer”) and you (“referee”) must have different Google Pay credentials to be eligible.
• If the terms of this offer are fulfilled, including the merchant referee having set up its business in the Google Pay app for the first time during the Offer Period and going on to become a verified merchant within 30 days thereafter, you as the referrer will unlock a scratch card worth between Indian Rupees Fifty (INR 50) to Indian Rupees One thousand (INR 1000), and the merchant referee will unlock a scratch card worth Indian Rupees Fifty (INR 50). If the merchant has not become verified using an eligible method within 30 days after setting up its business in the Google Pay for Business app, any locked scratch cards associated with this offer will expire. 
• Cash rewards will be deposited in the designated UPI-enabled bank account attached to the recipient’s Google Pay account. As such, you and your merchant referee must each have an eligible UPI-enabled bank account attached to your respective Google Pay accounts to receive payment from Google. If the reward recipient does not have an eligible UPI enabled account linked to their Google Pay account within 45 days of claiming the reward, the reward will be deemed to be forfeited.
• You can avail this offer for a maximum of five unique verified merchant referees. Each merchant referee can only avail of this offer once, when they are successfully onboarded and verified onto the Google Pay for Business app for the first time.
• You can earn referral rewards up to a total value of Indian Rupees Nine Thousand (INR 9,000) per financial year (1 April to 31 March), across all Google Pay offers.
• Employees, interns, contractors and office-holders, as well as their immediate families (parents, siblings, children, spouses and life partners of each, regardless of where they live) of Google LLC, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and any representatives or agencies of Google or other persons professionally connected with the offer, are not eligible to participate.
• This offer is not available to residents of the state of Tamil Nadu (as per Tamil Nadu Prize Scheme (Prohibition) Act 1979) and wherever else prohibited by Law. Residents of these states should not participate in this offer. 
• You agree that your participation in the offer constitutes your understanding of and agreement to these offer terms and conditions. These offer terms and conditions form a binding legal agreement between you and Google with respect to the offers, and any defined terms used herein have the meaning set forth in the Google Pay Terms of Service.
• Google reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any User who does not meet the offer requirements or in case of reasons including but not limited to any misuse of the offer or fraud or suspicious transactions/activities. Google also reserves the right to discontinue or change any Google Pay offer or the Google Pay offer programme at any time, at its sole discretion.
• This offer is subject to referrer compliance with the Google Pay Terms of Service, and referee compliance with the Google Pay for Business  Program Terms of Services.
