How to raise a dispute for a bill payment/recharge on Google Pay?

Raise Dispute from the payment activity section for bill payment or recharge transaction

  1. Open Google Pay .
  2. Scroll down, then select See transaction history.
  3. Select the transaction you want to raise a dispute for.

Tip: Please note the “Raise dispute” option will be enabled after 48 hours from the transaction initiation.

  1. Tap Having issues? and then Payment issue.
  2. Under “Payment issue,” select the issue that you have with the transaction.
  3. To raise a dispute, follow the on-screen instructions.

Raise Dispute using the settings option for bill payment or recharge transaction

  1. Open the Google Pay app .
  2. Tap your profile picture and then tap on Settings.
  3. Tap Help & feedback.
  4. Select Raise BBPS dispute and follow the on-screen steps.
Note: Please enter the BBPS ID in the Transaction Ref ID field. You will find the BBPS ID in the payment transaction details section under Raise Dispute section of the transaction.
