Get started with the Jobs Spot

You can find nearby jobs, build your profile and learn essential skills from within the Google Pay app.

Important: To get the most out of the Jobs Spot, make sure that you update your Google Pay app to the latest available version.

How it works

When you create your profile with the Jobs Spot, you get access to opportunities to learn, grow and earn with our Jobs Spot partners. You’ll get:

  • Convenient profile creation
  • Job searches by location
  • Easy job application and schedule management
  • Articles, videos and other educational resources

What's a Jobs Spot profile?

Your Jobs Spot profile is designed to be simple and friendly. We’ll ask you a couple of easy questions about your interests and preferences, and that’s it. Your Jobs Spot profile is clean, portable and updated whenever you get jobs within the Jobs Spot. You can also share or download your profile, or print it out when you need a physical copy.

Create your Jobs Spot profile

  1. Open the Google Pay app Google Pay.
  2. Under 'Businesses', tap Jobs.
    • If you can’t find 'Jobs', use the search bar at the top to search for: Jobs. Then, tap the Jobs Spot.
  3. Tap Get started.
  4. Choose where you want to start:
    • To begin your job search and build your profile immediately, tap Find a job.
      • Important: If you haven’t yet created your Jobs Spot profile, start here.
    • To sharpen your skills, tap Learn something new.
    • To browse jobs or view your existing profile, tap Start exploring.
  5. Tap Continue.
  6. Select up to three career interests that fit your goals, then tap Continue.
  7. Enter the area where you’d like to work, then tap Continue.
  8. Browse your home feed for jobs and learning content.

Learn new skills

To find articles and videos that can help you in your career:

  1. Open the Google Pay app Google Pay.
  2. Under 'Businesses', tap Jobs.
    • If you can’t find 'Jobs', use the search bar at the top to search for: Jobs. Then, tap the Jobs Spot.
  3. Scroll to 'Learn new skills'.
  4. Find an article or video piece of content that interests you.
  5. To find out more, tap the article or video.

Tip: To share the article or video with others, tap Share Share.
