Your UPI PIN is the number that you enter whenever you add a new payment account or make a transaction.
You’ll be asked to create a UPI PIN when you first add a bank account to a UPI app. If you already have a UPI PIN for your bank account, you can use the same UPI PIN on Google Pay. You can also change your UPI PIN using Google Pay.
Change your UPI PIN
- Open Google Pay .
- At the top right, tap your photo.
- Tap Bank account.
- Tap the bank account that you want to edit.
- Tap More and then Change UPI PIN.
- Enter your old UPI PIN.
- Create a new UPI PIN.
- Enter the same UPI PIN again.
Tip: If you enter a wrong UPI PIN more than three times, you either need to:

Wait for 24 hours to make your next transaction, OR

Reset your PIN to make transactions immediately

- Open Google Pay .
- At the top right, tap your photo and then Bank account.
- Tap the bank account that you want to edit.
- Tap Forgot UPI PIN.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.

I can’t reset my UPI PIN with the Aadhaar card
Your Aadhaar card should be linked to the same mobile number that’s registered with the bank account that you want to add to Google Pay.
To find the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar number:
- On your phone, go to https://uidai.gov.in.
- Tap Select preferred language.
- Tap My Aadhaar and then Aadhaar services and then Verify email/Mobile number.
- If you can’t find the option to reset your UPI PIN to Google Pay, contact your bank.
- Your bank will help you link your bank account to your Aadhaar card.
- To find your bank's contact details, go to www.digisaathi.info.
- If you can’t find the option to reset your UPI PIN to Google Pay, contact your bank.
I can't reset the UPI PIN with my Aadhaar card
